Our background relates to all areas of Local Taxation and Benefits, from interim management through to complete project management. All of our experience relates to the Revenues and Benefits discipline, however, this has been gained from both the public and private sectors perspective. The ability to apply both these viewpoints to today’s issues makes our advice and assistance far more valuable than those service providers from only the private sector.

We specialise only in the revenues and benefits arena, and believe that this ensures our knowledge base in legislative and working practices remains focussed on this profession and as such will enhance any services we provide.

Interim Management

From undertaking interim management for previous authorities, we realise that the position often requires diplomacy whilst ensuring that service standards remain high and corporate strategies are followed. Our aim is not just to provide an interim solution but also to bring our consultancy skills and experiences to bear and where appropriate recommend improvements for implementation, if required.

Our experience in interim management has been gained from full time employment with local authorities and more recently with assignments with local authorities on a contract basis.

Utilisation of Technology

We have experience in how information technology can assist revenues and benefits sections in their day-to-day operations.We provide training, articles and presentations on E Government and keep a watching brief as this exciting area of Local and Central Government develops. Project have included the procurement and implementation of major systems for a London Borough and assistance to COMINO(Civica), in their BPR and Consultancy services and project management for ANITE. 

We have prepared subsidy claims for an authority, which has brought its services back in house.

We also have provided consultancy advice on working practices and legislative requirements for software suppliers and authorities in reviewing systems post implementation.
